ABOUT COUNCILWOMAN TIFFANY ACKLEY

Tiffany Ackley Headshot

Tiffany Ackley was elected to the Aliso Viejo City Council in November of 2018, garnering one of the highest percentages of votes cast in the City’s history. Growing up in South Orange County, Tiffany learned the importance of hard work and giving back to her community from a young age. Those early lessons in life have informed and shaped her personal and professional career. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Scripps College, her Master’s of Business Administration from SDA Bocconi in Italy, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego.

Councilwoman Ackley and her husband, Jared, moved to Aliso Viejo over a decade ago to develop roots in the community. Over the years, they have raised their children and fallen in love with the unique attributes that make Aliso Viejo a model city in Orange County and throughout the nation. Since moving to Aliso Viejo, she has been an active member of several non-profit organizations and a past President of her Home Owners Association (HOA).

During her first term in office, she has focused on government reform through increasing efficiencies and cutting red tape, repairing local infrastructure, protecting the environment, and ensuring that Aliso Viejo’s youngest residents have access to school-age programming and robust extracurricular activities through the local park system.

Professionally, Tiffany works as an environmental attorney, working hard to protect our beautiful state through protecting local control, developing dual expertise in defending cities from frivolous lawsuits, and protecting our environment.  This experience has given her a unique ability to ensure the City of Aliso Viejo continues to implement the best practices that ensure the City remains one of the most ethical, transparent, and dynamic cities in the United States.
